Jose Luis Leyva-Diaz was born in Tuitan, Durango Mexico, raised in Allende, Coahulia Mexico. He was born to Ismael and Maria Esmelda Leyva.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Maria Leyva; sons Jorge and Jose Jr; daughters Melissa, Liliana and Dalia; 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Jose will not only be remembered as a caring and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather but also for the love to his favorite sport - baseball!
Jose is preceded in death by his father Ismael and brother Sergio Leyva.
