

Josephine R. Olejniczak, age 89, of Phoenix, Arizona, formerly of Harvey, IL, passed away on Sunday, June 14, 2020 in Scottsdale, AZ. She was born on November 26, 1930 to the late Frank and Angeline (Michalik) Gorski in Phoenix, Illinois. On September 9, 1950, she married the late John R. Olejniczak in Harvey, IL. Josephine worked as a homemaker raising three achildren and helping with the Olen Mortuary.s an OCCUPATION for INDUSTRY EMPLOYER She was a member of St. John the Baptist Altar Guild. She enjoyed playing cards and collecting porcelain dolls. Josephine is survived by her three loving three children, Dr. Paula Olen (Joseph) Mikrut, Robert (Nancy) Olen, and Dr. Richard (Cynthia) Olen; eight grandchildren, Melisa (Lou) Camp, Paul (Andrea) Mikrut, William (Tristan) Olen, Jeffrey Mikrut (Shelby), Mikrut, Racheael (Brian) Ference, John Olen, Joseph Olen, and Jennifer Olen; seven great grandchildren, Brendan Camp, Edward Mikrut, Caleb Camp, Meredith Mikrut, Charlotte Camp, Victoria Ference, and Violet Camp; and many loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joseph (Irene) Gorski, Stanley (Louise) Gorski, Henry (Phyllis) Gorski, Frank (Mary Ann) Gorski, Stella (Charles) Wierzbinski, Lottie (Stanley) Kwasny, Violet (Michael) Ustian, Mary (Bernard) Hajduch, and Helen (Anthony) Sitarz. A private Ccommittal services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Holy Redeemer Cemetery, 23015 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Josephine’s honor may be made to the employee fund at Belmont Village in Scottsdale Arizona for their exceptional care during this difficult quarantine time.
