Julian Tapia Romero was born February 10, 1951. Julian passed away September 17, 2016. He leaves behind a brother, Juan Tapia Romero and a sister, Gloria Tapia Romero, a sister-in-law, two nephews, three nieces, multiple uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. After graduating from Phoenix Union High School, he worked at Food City. In 1971 Julian joined the Air Force. Following four years of service to his country, he returned to Phoenix and was employed for 38 years at the Phoenix Job Corps. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Greer Wilson located at 5921 W. Thomas Road Phoenix, AZ 85033 on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 6:00pm to 8:00pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm, Church service will be at St. Augustine Catholic Church located at 3630 N. 71st Ave Phoenix, AZ 85033 on Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at 10:30am, following burial at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery located at 2033 N. 48th Street Phoenix, AZ 85008 at 12:15pm.
