November 23, 1923 – November 11, 2021
Katherine H. Quillin went to be with the Lord and her family on November 11, 2021. Kathy, as she was known by her friends, resided at the Christian Care Nursing Center. She was born on November 23, 1923 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Ernest and Minnie Harris. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, husband, mother, father, and sister.
Kathy was a member of Royal Palms Baptist Church for over 50 years. One of her greatest accomplishments, in addition to being a good mother to her son, was the 10 years she spent teaching 4 year olds at Royal Palms.
She was also a member and officer of the Thunderbird Division of the United Daughters of the Confederacy for over 50 years.
Kathy had many friends and will be missed dearly, but we know she lived a good, happy life and is in Heaven with Jesus and her family.
