Kenneth “Bubba” Moore, passed away February 18, 2013 in a car accident. He was 55 years old. He was born in Miami, AZ and worked for the mine for many years. Most recently he was a union millwright where he traveled with his son Sheldon to jobs around the west coast. This gave him and his son Sheldon time to talk about life and the many lessons it would provide. His family would often meet them at these sites to enjoy family time and make mini vacations out of his long trips away from home.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and teaching his family to have the same love for the great outdoors. In his younger years another passion he had was breeding and fighting chickens. He did this with his father Charlie and also taught his sons how to handle the birds in the ring. Everything that Kenny enjoyed, he was sure to share with his children. Some of kids would like certain things more than others but he always gave everyone an opportunity to learn more. Once he started having grandchildren, he also made sure that the grandkids had their fair share of outdoor activities and fun. His granddaughters made him proud because they were not afraid to get dirty on any outdoor adventure. He did not have grandsons until more recently so he made sure that even his granddaughters were privy to cleaning fish and deer. He was so excited to show the younger grandchildren the ropes of the wilderness. He would often share visions of the future trips that they would all have together.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Moore. Survivors include his mother, Elizabeth Moore; wife Virginia; two sons and their wives, Sheldon and Amber Moore, Chris and Stephanie Arredondo; 2 daughters Berrinda and husband Andrew Couszins and Brandy Moore; 3 sisters, Colleen Hincha, Paula Moore, and Kerry Moore; 7 grandchildren, Chelsi Arredondo, Kendall Crockett, Easten Moore, Daisy Crockett, Presley Arredondo, Kyle Moore, and Ayden Couszins. The funeral will be held in Tempe at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 S. Rural Rd., Tempe, AZ 85282 on Saturday March 2, 2013 at 2pm.
