Kimberly Ann Sorg

At only 24 years young, Kimberly Ann Sorg was called to Heaven on December 1, 2020. She was an aspiring nurse and had an unwavering passion for helping people. Kimmy, as she was lovingly known by those closest to her, had the most genuine heart. Anyone who knew Kimmy will tell you that her unconditional love and light, paired with her illuminating smile and contagious laugh, brightened the lives of everyone around her. Long before she began her journey of becoming a caretaker for others, Kimberly offered her love, support, and consideration to family, friends, and strangers alike. It was no surprise that she decided to dedicate her life to looking after and healing those who needed it most.

Kimmy wore many hats in her personal life. She was an adoring and devoted daughter to her parents, Katie and Frank. She was the world's greatest and most cherished sister to her siblings, Shannon and Steven. A sweet stepdaughter to Nancy. She was a sister in law to Mandee and aunt to her nephews, Bennett, Stratton and Steele. She was a niece to aunts and uncles and had cousins that were her first friends in life. She found true love with her supportive boyfriend, Dennis. Embraced a loving second family with the Kardys. Shayna, Alexis, and Nicole were her best friends and she was a true friend to so many, it would be impossible to list them all. She was even a singing cat mother to Bagheera. To say that Kimberly will be missed is an understatement. The positive impact she had on the souls and spirits of each and every person that was fortunate enough to have her in their life is timeless and ever-present.

Truly an angel who walked on this earth, Kimmy is now an angel that resides in paradise with her Nanny and Grandpa. Kimmy always said she loves her family "Big as Heaven". She will forever remain as Big as Heaven within the hearts of her family and friends.

Remember Kimmy when you see the full moon, as she always waited for its majesty to come. Also, when you see a dime on the ground, pick it up. Kimmy would say it’s the lightest piece of change for an angel to carry to you.
