I remember growing up with uncle Larry & washing his car every Saturday afternoon. I loved this man so much, he always had good advice for me, & I always knew he loved me, & cared about my well being. I will always love you uncle Larry, & miss you. Hugs being sent up to you.

Larry was such a wonderful person.  I would love to go and talk to him.  He  always had something funny to say.  He reminded me of my grandpa.  God broke the mold when He made him....He is loved and missed greatly.

We all have different memories of our dad, but what was he like as a husband and father probably not much different than the every day Larry Geiger.

Our dad was a very kind and gentle man, with that "smirk", one of few words.  He always believed in  God.  When growing up, we knew that my mom and us kids always came first.  He gave his best at Pete King, but after work it was our time with him.  Our dad love to get his fender guiter out and play Johnny Cash and Hank William Jr songs for us kids or if family and friends were over. Loved to play softball, take us camping and "boat rides". 

Dad always taught us kids by leading by example, he never once expected us to do something that he would not do.  As being the oldest, I often times was the one that got suck cleaning the house corral, going to the dump, helping in the yard.  At the time, I would have rather have been playing softball with the neighbor kids, however looking back those were great times that dad and I spent together as he was teaching me work ethics, not by telling me but by being right next to me teaching.

Like my dad, I have always loved softball and played for years.  I never had the new ball gloves like all the other kids, however the glove that I had was a special glove, it was my dad's ball glove from when he played ball while he was in high school (the glove was broken in).

In our eyes, we had the best dad, grandfather and great grandfather and he will be missed by all; however we all believe that when God took dad home that God sent Darlene our sister down to get him after 33 years.  Darlene its your time with dad.

I think of you so often, and most the time, I smile or laugh out loud, then there are those times that my eyes fill up..... I embrace all the emotions, although I prefer the smiles and laughs. :)  I think that I have more laughs and smiles because that was your gift to people and I was so lucky to be a recipient of that kindness.  You are the gift that keeps on giving.  I just wanted to thank you for that.  I love you!

Your absence has affected so many of your friends and family. I wonder if you really knew how great of an individul who really were? You have touched so many lives and it was all in a positive way. I miss our conversations, your words of wisdom, and the pointing of your finger telling me "You know what?" Kathy was a very lucky woman, mother, and mostly, your wife. She is a strong person who not only lived for you, but worshipped you. You would continue to be so proud of your daughters; yes, they truly miss you and long for their father's advice, but they have taken hold of your strengths and are carrying on in a way that you would be so very proud.
There are not too many men that I would take advice from, but you were the exception. I always listened to what you said and took it to heart.....every word. Kathy has taken the steering wheel from you and when I speak with her it is like your words are coming from her mouth. She wholeheartedly knew her husband and knew what you would say had you been there.

My grandpa was the most wonderful respected man. He made everyone around him feel loved and welcome. I will always remember his soft words and wisdom. He taught me about life, responsibility and music. He inspired me to do my best and never look back. He is forever missed and loved. I love you grandpa and I miss you dearly.

Dad, I Love You so much and i started missing you the moment you were gone. The only thing that i have to comfort me is knowing you are with Darlene now. She has waited for you  to be with her again for a very long time.I was so lucky to have you for my father. I believe you and mom loved each other so well, and that love will live on thru your children, their children an so on.When Jim died i could of been bitter and angry but i was not. I know some people go thier whole life and never felt loved and i always had love and it began with my parents. Mom is so strong as a result of your love you are so much apart of who we are that you will live on thru us and and we will make you proud everyday!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to thank you all for sharing your wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend with me.  He was huge spark in my and Scott's lives.  He made this world a better place and the world will feel his absence.  Scott and I are praying for you all in this difficult time and sharing in your in your loss.  Please lean on us for anything, we will be more than happy to honor Larry by being there for you.  He was the best of the best!  Much Sympathy and love to you all.
