Larry LeRoy Tuton of Sun City West Arizona passed away on October 25, 2022, at the age of 80. He was born on February 11, 1942, in Pocatello, Idaho to LeRoy Nelson and Leona Marie Tuton and moved the family to California. After graduating from high school Larry went on to attend and graduate from Southern California College (SCC), now known as Vanguard University in Costa Mesa, CA. While at SCC he met the love of his life, Ellawena Mack, they were married on August 7, 1965, at Grantway Assembly of God in Tucson, AZ and have two children, Cheryl and Brent.
Larry was a minister with the Assemblies of God and in April of 2019, was recognized and honored for being an ordained minister for 50 years. Larry and Ellawena served as associate or senior pastors in seven churches (all in Arizona) over the course of their ministry and were still working full-time on staff at Church on the Green. They most recently spent their days contacting new visitors, ministering to homebound church members, and making many hospital visits. Larry loved the ministry and loved the work they were doing at Church on the Green and he would not have had it any other way.

He is survived by his wife, Ellawena, daughter Cheryl (Robert) Brothers, son Brent Tuton, Grandchildren – Brock (Bethany Grace) Brothers, Branda Brothers, Bryce (Bethany Joy) Brothers, Breanna Brothers, six great grandchildren - Jayla, Lincoln, Wren, Ford, Emmaline and Jamison Brothers and his sisters Linda (Roy) Mauldin and Rochelle (Dave) Dowdell.
