

Larry shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife, Geralyn (Koenigsfeld) Tweet, who preceded him in passing. Together, they were devoted partners for 51 years, building a life filled with love, faith, and deep connection. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Tweet.
Larry is lovingly remembered by his siblings: James (Robert) Neilson-Tweet, Robert (Lori) Tweet, Thomas Tweet, and Debra Smith. He was a treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews, all of whom were touched by his warmth, generosity, and kind heart.
He grew up in Phoenix, attending Madison School #2 and graduating from Camelback High School in 1971. He later pursued studies at Phoenix College. Larry began his career at Sears Roebuck & Co., where he met Geralyn — the love of his life. He went on to serve the State of Arizona with dedication, retiring as the Chief Procurement Officer for ADOT in 2008.
Faith played a central role in Larry’s life. In retirement, he found joy and purpose through his involvement with St. Germaine Roman Catholic Parish and his membership in the Knights of Columbus. His devotion to his faith and community was a guiding light throughout his life.
Larry will be remembered for his big, welcoming smile, his generous spirit, and his unwavering love for those around him. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together and offer support, encouragement, and kindness wherever it was needed. His legacy is one of compassion, service, and enduring love.
He will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 6, 2025 at 11:00am, St Germaine Roman Catholic Parish located at on 7997 E Dana Dr. Prescott Valley, AZ 86314.
