Lesley Leticia Lemus was born on September 5th, 1996 in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from Sunnyslope High School in May of 2015. Everyone who knew her can agree she was one of the sweetest, and most beautiful human beings. Her bright smile characterized her and brought forth joy to everyone she met. Lesley was a beloved daughter, sister, friend, and sister in Christ. She had the unique ability to express her love and care in return tenfold. Whether it was with her smile, words,or DIY gifts, she never missed the opportunity to make you feel special. Lesley was a lover of animals, drawing, avocados, and all things Disney. But most importantly, she loved her family and God. Our church community embraced her through every season of life since the day she was born. Her love for God fueled her desire to serve faithfully in the children's department for many years. Lesley participated in the yearly Vacation Bible School (VBS) event for the children. She would also spend long days/nights parking cars at our church's yearly AZ State Fair fundraising event, running up and down the lot, always helping, always willing. At the young age of 22, Lesley's health started to deteriorate. She underwent various surgeries; spent long months in the hospitals. Lesley genuinely shared her journey with us, the victories and defeats of the difficult battles she was fighting. After a long and hard fought war with her health, God gave Lesley the victory of everlasting peace and healing. She went home to heaven on July 23rd,2022 with the desire that her testimony would lead others to know Jesus Christ as their savior. Lesley will be greatly missed, yet we find comfort in knowing we will see her again soon and that she is now resting in Gods presence, no longer in pain. We love you Lesley, your legacy of service and compassion will live forever in our hearts.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.
"5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Revelation 21: 4-5
