As a young girl, Lillie relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where she attended elementary school and later graduated from Phoenix Union High School. Known for her strong work ethic and generous spirit, Lillie built a career across several fields, including customer support and caregiving—roles that perfectly reflected her nurturing and compassionate nature.
In 2005, guided lovingly by her sister Georgia, Lillie was brought to Greater Saint Luke Power House Memorial COGIC, where she accepted the Lord as her Savior under the pastorage of Pastor Robert L. Overstreet. Her faith became an important part of her life and a source of strength and comfort.
Lillie loved life deeply and found joy in celebrating with her friends and loved ones. She was a devoted daughter, sister, mother, and friend, always stepping forward to support those around her. Throughout her life, she cared for many members of her family, including her mother, brothers, and sisters. Her kindness, warmth, and infectious smile made her a beloved figure in her community. She touched countless lives with her big heart, steady presence, and unwavering willingness to help anyone in need.
Lillie is preceded in death by her mother, Rosie Mae Jones; her father, O.B. Jones; her brothers, Clarence Earl Jones, Billy Ray King, Robert Lee Johnson, George Jones Jr. (Hunk); and her sister, Georgia Ann Jones.
