

Loraine Clair Neagle, age 96, of Scottsdale, passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018. She was born on April 19, 1922 to the late Joseph and Blanche Markiewicz in South Milwaukee, WI. After graduating high school Loraine enlisted into the United States Army Air Corps. On April 6, 1947 she married Clarence Ray Neagle in Galveston, TX. She co-owned Neagle Refrigeration in South Milwaukee, WI and the Tahiti Palms Apartments in Phoenix, AZ. Loraine was a member of American Legion Post #27 in South Milwaukee; and enjoyed music, playing cards, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She is survived by her five loving children, Dan Neagle, Jim (Debbie) Neagle, Kathy Lowe (Steve Best), Ron (Barbara) Neagle, and Doug Neagle (Sandy DePaz); eleven grandchilren; twenty great grandchildren; and many other loving family and friends. Loraine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence Ray Neagle. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, January 14, 2019, at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 E. Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022. Committal Service with Military honors will follow at 12:30 pm at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Lorraine’s honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org/donate.
