Louie was born and raised in San Fernando, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents Bernardo & Crispina Barajas, his sister, Julia Carranza, his son, Louie Barajas, Jr., and daughter Terri Barajas Loya.
Survived by his wife Rosemary Lomeli Barajas, sons Larry (Evie) Barajas, Johnny Barajas, Ricky (Ashley) Dominguez and daughter Cindy Barajas Campos, numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews.
He retired from Lockheed-Burbank, California in 1996 with numerous Awards & Accomplishment Certificates. He then relocated to Phoenix, Arizona in 1997.
Since he couldn't be still, he went on to work for City of Phoenix Parks & Recreation, Reach 11 Sports Complex for another 10 years until he retired again at the age of 80. Louie was always full of life, laughter, an amazing storyteller and a very dedicated L.A. Dodgers & Rams fan. When it came to his cars, they were his babies which were always kept in immaculate condition. His love of music & playing his trumpet were his weekends favorite. He will be greatly missed by everyone.
