Aunt Margaret was so full of life and joy. We enjoyed her laughter and humor. She was such a wonderful hostess, feeding me lunch or snacks when I would visit them in their home in Litchfield Park. My favorite was her green chili burritos. Aunt Margaret and Uncle Francis gave us a beautiful beach seascape as a wedding gift so many years ago. We love it so much and still have it hanging in our bedroom. We see it every morning when we wake up and will remember her every time we see it. We will miss her so very much.

3/4/2023 Auntie Margaret Wong come to celebrate our restaurant’s 18th anniversary. 

My aunt Margaret May Wong was the great aunt any person could ever have. I started working for her in the grocery store as a cashier when I turned 18 years old. She taught me so much! She really treated me like a daughter. She was so kind hearted that she would let me stay at her house on the weekend. After work she would have a warm meal ready for me to eat. Sometimes we would go out for lunch and talk about life, school, and so much more. Even after I got married she always remembered cook my favorite beef stew when I came to visited her. Auntie you will be missed! I cherish these memories and they bring me comfort that there was so much love. We will love you forever Auntie. You’re in a better place now full of love and warmth. I know you’ll be looking over me. Let’s honor Margaret May Wong memory by continuing to spread love in this world and be kind to everyone everyday.

Margaret was always so gracious, looking out for her family and friends. She was a great cook and I loved her sense of style. She always looked so sharp. I loved her for her warmth and beautiful smile.  I am so happy for the time we had laughing with the grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I will always remember joking with Grandma about my Dad, we would always start laughing. She was so funny. She taught me that one of the most important lessons in life is to learn to cook and find a man that cooks!! Love you Grandma, oh, and we both loved the color royal and midnight purple ❤️

Every time we first saw grandma after awhile, she’d always exclaim: “Boy how you’ve both grown!”  We both knew, however, that neither of us had grown in the last few years, it was just her shrinking.   Grandma and us would always get a good laugh about that. 

I believe this is the first photo of grandma and me.  Grandma was always so loving and spunky and I’ll miss her greatly.

I believe this is the last photo Jack and I have with grandma.   She loved us all so much and we’ll all miss her smile, wit and laughter.   I love you so much grandma!

All throughout our childhood, grandma and grandpa taught us how to play Mah Jong and it was one of the best activities Jack and I got to enjoy with her.    We’d look forward to playing every time we visited, even though grandma would always take all of our chips...

Thank you mom for your love and happiness. I was lucky to have you for my mother and have so many funny stories to tell about you. Looking back now I think we started smiling and laughing with each other from day one.  💜

Mom you are the light in life and the love in my heart.  💜   I cherish the 56 years I got to be your daughter.    Thank you for being the best mother ever.   🌸

Aunt Margaret thank you for being a part of my life.  As far back as I can remember you were always next door.   You are the only aunt I really ever got to know because of distance and language.
