Marie Aileen (McLean) Tank, 55, was born on December 7, 1956 in Warren, Ohio and passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on January 4, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. She was a graduate of Mathews High School in Vienna and earned a CDA from Kent State University in Warren, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle S and Cynthia M. McLean and her sister Joyce Neely. Marie is survived by her husband,Henry, son Matthew (Donna) Sherro of La Mesa, Ca., daughter Kimberly of Phoenix, son Patrick Tank, Phoenix and daughter, Paula (Doug) as well as her Mother-in-law, Helen Chamberlin. She is also survived by her sister Bonnie (Steven) of Champion, Ohio, sister Carol Garufi of Derry, PA and brother Merle S. McLean, Jr.(Pat) of Vienna as well as three grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie and Henry were active in the American Legion, a service organization for veterans, and were members of Desert Sun Baptist Church. Marie and Henry were also active in the American Legion Riders. They were regular karaoke hosts at the American Legion involved with disabled American Veterans. Those who knew Marie will remember that she lived a life full of gusto and thoroughly enjoyed her life with Henry. It is appropriate that she went on to her eternal rest while enjoying an evening with the man who was so much more than a husband; he was her best friend constant source of encouragement, partner in adventure and service; and most importantly the person who gave her a well deserved smile every day. Our world is less beautiful because of her passing but because of that passing, Heaven is a little better and will feel more like home when we get there. Our lives will, forever be better, for having had the privilege of knowing loving and being loved by this wonderful lady. We love you and we will see you again someday.
