Marion Jane Taube (Peterson) was born December 23,1932 and adopted by Erwin and Norris Peterson. She grew up as an only child in the small farming community of Arlington, Az and moved to Phoenix as a teenager. She graduated from North High School, where she met Edwin Taube, also an only child. Together, they had 6 children.
She enjoyed bowling, golf, card games, crossword puzzles, was an avid reader, and loved playing poker. She was highly competitive playing games, but was the most loving, caring person you could know.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Taube and son, Charles Taube and daughter, Carolyn Gooding. She is survived by children Diane Clark, Edwin Taube Jr, Vicki Ehlers, and Warren Taube, 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held Thursday, July 31 from 9:00 am – 10:00, followed by a celebration of her life at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary 719 N 27th Avenue, Phoenix AZ 85009.
