

68, of Gilbert, AZ was called to Heaven on July 21, 2017. Mark was born to his parents, Fred and Dorothy Jordan, on October 6,1948 in Springfield, Ohio. Mark graduated from Xenia High School in 1966. Mark entered the Army in 1968 and served in Vietnam. He received awards, commendations and the Purple Heart for his bravery and strength while in combat. Upon discharge from the military, he became a sales representative for Central Carpet in Beaver Creek Ohio. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona and worked at Tempe Paint and Decorator Center as a Division Manager .
Mark enjoyed softball and bowling, but he was an avid golfer. No matter what the weather was like it didn't stop Mark, you could find him out on the golf course. After Mark moved to Arizona he remained a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and, especially, the Ohio State Buckeyes! When the Arizona Cardinals came to Phoenix he became one of their number one fans. This was his team! He was also active in organizations that support veterans and his community. He was currently a member of VFW Post 7401, American Legion Post 138, and Chandler Elks Lodge #2429.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Matthew, his first wife Linda, and his stepfather Joseph Elliot. He is survived by his wife, Kelly, his children, Amanda Jordan, Amanda Geiger and Drew Wheeler; his five grandchildren: Aidan, Evan, Brennan, Ava and Liam; his brother David Jordan (Mary) of Xenia Ohio, and his sister, Sandy Jordan of Hillsboro Ohio..
Services: Friday, August 4, 10:00 a.m., National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 Cave Creek Road, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
