Mary Louise Crumbaker

Mary Louise Crumbaker, 87, passed on January 16, 2013 joining her husband Galen, son James, and daughter Dee in heaven. She was born Mary Louise Jones in Tempe, Arizona in 1925. Mary was a long-time teacher dedicated to her 5th grade students at Flora Thew Elementary School in Tempe. In retirement, she continued to work with students as a library volunteer at Thew School. Mary is survived by her brother Max and sisters Shirley and Margaret; children Vivien (Nick) O’Neill, Jo Crumbaker, John (Mary) Crumbaker and David (Eileen) Crumbaker; and grandchildren Jamie, K.G., Stacey, Rowdy, Shay, Casey, Shane and Wylee. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at Carr Tenney Mortuary, 2621 South Rural Road, Tempe Arizona. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Mary Crumbaker Memory Fund for the Thew School Library. Donations may be sent to Thew Elementary School at 2130 E. Howe Ave., Tempe, AZ 85281.
