Mary “Spunky” Ernst, age 83 of Phoenix, Arizona passed away peacefully on September 2, 2022. Spunky was born in Jerome, Arizona on 2-2-1939 and graduated from Flagstaff High School in 1957. She was married to George Ernst Jr. in Jerome, Arizona on 3-16-1962 and celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year. She worked at Transamerica Title Company for 39 years. Spunky was a very giving person who had a love for animals, high school reunions and an occasional visit to the casino.
Spunky leaves behind her loving husband George; son George (Trey); daughter in-law Sharon; Granddaughter Alexis and husband Robert; Great Grandson Aiden; sister Tessie, brother in-law Eddie; sister Angie, brother in-law Joe, along with many nieces, nephews and close family friends that loved her dearly.
