Mary Frances Short, born January 5, 1940, went to be with the Lord on January 9, 2015 after a long illness. She leaves behind her loving and devoted husband M.L. “Mike” Short; two children, Sheryl “Sherri” (Richard) Moncayo and Michael (Christine) “Chrissy” Short; two sisters, Jesse Faye Parker and
Betty (Buddy) Kitchens; grandchildren, Rachel (Jason) Millhollon Branden (Sharon “Sam”) Robertson, Matthew Short, Richard “Rico” Moncayo, Bradley Robertson, Sarah Short, Adam Short and Rebekah Short. She also has two great-granddaughters, Eleora and Corah Millhollon. Funeral Services will be Thursday, January 15, 2015 at 10 am at A. L. Moore Grimshaw Mortuary 710 W. Bethany Home Rd. with an escorted procession to Phoenix Memorial Park Cemetery. Frances was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She had a true spirit of love, kindness and giving. She loved to watch JAG and spaghetti westerns with Mike, her husband of 56 years. She will be truly missed by all. Our consolation is knowing that she has gone home to be with our Lord and we will see her again one day.
