My memories of my Grandma Mati showed me exactly what love and sacrifice were all about. She was the most selfless person I’ve ever met, and her love and care was definitely passed down to her 4 daughters—to include my own mother, Jeannette. Grandma Mati had no choice but to be strong at a very young age, and I’m so grateful and blessed that I got to witness that compassion and selflessness as my grandmother. She was not only a role model to me, but to every heart and soul she touched, raised, and welcomed into her home. Mis recuerdos de mi abuela Mati me mostraron exactamente lo que significaban el amor y el sacrificio. Era la persona más desinteresada que he conocido, y su amor y cuidado sin duda se transmitieron a sus cuatro hijas, incluida mi madre, Jeannette. La abuela Mati no tuvo más remedio que ser fuerte desde muy joven, y estoy muy agradecida y bendecida de haber presenciado esa compasión y altruismo como mi abuela. No solo fue un ejemplo a seguir para mí, sino para cada corazón y alma que tocó, crió y acogió en su hogar. Que su alma encuentre paz para siempre.

My Mother was the best person in the world! She showed me what love is between a Mother and her child and I am so grateful for having her in my life.  Nunca te olvidare Mami preciosa, la quiero mucho y la apreciare  toda la vida!  Nos seguiremos hablando por otros cien anos mas! Que Dios la tenga en Sus manos y en la Gloria.
