Michelangelo Whitten, age 38, passed away on August 24, 2017 in Phoenix. He was born in New Mexico on May 16, 1979, the son of Michael and Teresa Whitten. Michelangelo will be greatly missed by his wife, Angela Schultz; stepson, Dallas Nabors; son, Stephen Whitten; mom, Maria Teresa Whitten; father, Michael Whitten; brothers, Jesus Soto and Christofer Whitten; sister, Charlette Whitten and extended family. Michelangelo was a valedictorian out of Bowie High School (El Paso, TX) and attended John's Hopkins University. He was fond of numerous academic subjects along with his love of baseball and football but he is best remembered for the huge and selfless heart he demonstrated with others. He will be truly missed by both family and friends in Arizona, the Southwest, and internationally.
