Mildred "Tippy" Evelyn Arnold

“Tippy” Arnold moved from Arizona to Heaven on January 17th, 2025. She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She loved Jesus and worked tirelessly her entire life sharing the gospel of Christ. All were welcomed into her home and especially around the kitchen table. Her kitchen was at the center of her interactions with others. Her tacos were legendary and often were the hook to draw others into discussions about the importance of God and Family. Although we are mourning her passing from this earthly realm, it is comforting to know she is in God’s embrace.

We will greatly miss her uniqueness. Things like coming home from walks with her pockets full of “special” rocks she picked up to add to her extensive collection. Or proudly proclaiming she had never drank a beer. She was a good human being. A Giver, not a Taker. She accepted and nurtured everyone she crossed paths with and harbored no malice towards any. Her legacy will continue to inspire all of us who have known and loved her, to emulate the best of her traits in our own lives. Tippy was a prayer warrior and there are few who crossed her path that were not raised up in prayer to her Heavenly Father. Those prayers are still working. She believed that prayer doesn’t have an expiration date.

For almost 70 years Tippy was married to Robert, her first and only true love. At age 18 she robbed the cradle and and married her love who was only 16. Together those two kids raised 4 children, Paul, Stephen, David and Patricia. One thing led to another and they now have 15 Grandchildren and 25 Great-Grandchildren. All of them her favorite. God and this family were the most important thing in her daily life.

We are grateful that she led a full and healthy life and will remain a shining example to all.
