Mildred P. Bowers went home to be with her Lord Saturday, May 3, 2014. Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Roy M. Bowers, Jr.; her sisters Alice Wilhide and Bertie Pettit; her brother Edward Pettit and her parents, Noel Pettit and Mildred H. Pettit. She is survived by her children Cheryl Lee (Frank), Kevin Bowers (Sheri) and grandchildren Jason Lee, Karen Jones (Christopher) and Aiden Bowers. Millie was very active in her church and devoted to her family. You are so loved and we will miss you for all time. We know you are now with your Savior, perfect and whole. Visitation will be held Monday, May 12, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuary. Services will be held at Orangewood Church of the Nazarene on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
