Nina Lee Ledbetter

Nina Lee Ledbetter of Glendale, Arizona, passed away on Friday, December 27th, 2024 in Glendale, Arizona at the age of 84. She was born on February 15, 1940 in Mitchell, Arkansas, the daughter of George Mitchell and Ione Scott. Since 1947, Nina called Arizona home. She spent most of her adult life as a an assistant pastor. Nina will be missed by all her family and friends.

Nina graduated from West High School in 1958. She later worked as a floral designer for Nosegay Flower Show for 24 years. She was active with her church, Trinity Fellowship, as the helping hands of the ministry and then was the assistant pastor.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, parents George and Ione, her brother Larry, and many aunts, uncles, and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Jerrilee, son Jeffery Lynn, sister Jayne, grandson Brian (Andrea), granddaughter Brenda (Jeff), granddaughter Crystal (Tim), grandson Matthew (Caitlin), and her great grandchildren Anthony, Braden, Greysen, Connor, Leila and Lila and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family would like to thank the staff of Banner Thunderbird Medical Center, especially Emily and Brad who took care of her in her final days, they were awesome.

A visitation for Nina will be held Friday, January 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Phoenix Memorial Park and Mortuary, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027. A funeral service will occur Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 10:00 AM. A committal service will follow at 11:00 AM, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
