Nora was known to almost all who loved her as "Nammie." She was mom, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Whether you were her own child, grandchild, niece or nephew, or a friend or neighbor, she loved you like you were her own. Born in Michigan but with much of her recent years spent in Arizona, Nora loved both the greenery and lakes of the MidWest and the desert beauty of the Sonoran. She was an avid reader, she loved western movies, her favorite guy John Wayne and listening to Elvis. As a young adult Nora loved to play softball. She was involved in the PTA, booster clubs and many other groups that supported her kids and their activities.
Nora's career was spent in the data entry & data management industry. Her most beloved years working at Computer Graphics of Arizona. She was the Data Entry Manager by title but she was much more than that to the company and to her colleagues.
In addition to how she loved, Nammie may be best remembered for her cookies! She taught us all how to love fiercely and bake deliciously (if you were lucky enough to get her recipes.) Holidays were top priority and birthdays were always to be celebrated. She knew exactly how to make each of us feel like the most special person in her life.
No one loved us like Nam...how grateful we all are to have had her.
Nora is survived by her children: Michael (Cindy), Patrick (Joanne), and Holly. She is also survived by her grandchildren Marcus, Michael, Kyle, Megan, Patrick, Jordon, Colin, Rachel, Josiah, Jacquelyn, Dante and Noah as well as 15 great grandchildren.
A Private Service for family & close friends will be held on November 11th at Phoenix Memorial at 2pm.
