

Born on March 15, 1932, in Auburn, Indiana, Oliver was the beloved son of Clarence A. Magginnis and Rose Mae Magginnis, both of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his son, Oliver Jr. Magginnis, and his siblings: Esther Nofzinger, Wilmer Magginnis, Mae Mavis, Clarence J. Magginnis (killed in action while serving in the U.S. Army), and Alta Martha Miller.
Oliver is survived by his loving children: Barbara Williams, Diane Gomez, Eric Magginnis, and Karen Stidham, as well as his beloved sister, Janet Gall. He was also the proud grandfather of many grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life.
After graduating from Hamilton High School, Oliver pursued his passion for cooking and earned his degree from the Culinary Arts of America. He dedicated much of his life to the culinary profession and was a respected member of the Phoenix Chefs Association, where he also served as Secretary.
Oliver loved giving back to his community. He served as a Little League coach and umpire, touching the lives of countless young athletes. His life reflected hard work, integrity, service, and devotion to both family and country.
