

He pursued higher education at Colorado A&M in Fort Collins, Colorado and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife management. This academic foundation reflected his deep appreciation for the natural world and supported a long and successful professional journey.
Oliver dedicated 38 years to Pfizer Laboratories as a sales and hospital representative. His career was distinguished by professionalism and a steadfast commitment to excellence.
In addition to his professional life, Oliver served in the Army Reserves attaining the rank of Captain. His service reflected his leadership and dedication to duty.
Oliver was a man of strong Christian faith. He followed the teachings of Jesus Christ throughout his life. His belief was evident in his worship and his daily actions which were marked by kindness, humility and love.
Oliver valued relationships above all else. He believed that material things fade and become obsolete while the love of family, friends and God endures. This principle guided him each day.
He is remembered with love by Daniel Scarvie, David Scarvie and Linda Scarvie. Oliver is preceded in death by his son, John Scarvie. Oliver is also preceded by his loving wife, Margaret Osborn Scarvie, who in his words "had the biggest and most glorious and most loving impact on his life."
