Ora Ariabell Ratliff (age 86), passed away on January 29, 2024 in Phoenix, Arizona. Born February 28, 1937 in Bald Knob, Arkansas to her parents, Peter and Sarah Bowling. She was the fifth of nine children. The family moved to Stanfield, Arizona during her early teens where she eventually met and married Perry Willie Ratliff Jr.
Perry & Ariabell, were married August 4, 1954 in Florence, Arizona. A year later, Barbara the first of five children, was born. Now a mother, she took on the role of homemaker for the family. In the coming years Dennis, Larry, Michael, and Janet were born. In her free time, Ariabell enjoyed long walks, sewing, cake decorating, and being social with neighbors.
Ariabell is survived her children: Barbara Ann (Robert), Larry Wayne (Sharol), and Michael Ray (Annette). She will be greatly missed by her children, seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and five siblings. She was preceded in death by husband Perry, an angel baby Janet Lynn, son, Dennis Craig, parents, and by three of her siblings.
A visitation for Ora will be held Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Serenity Chapel, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. A committal service will occur Thursday, February 22, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
