Patty was born in Phoenix, Arizona on September 22, 1963, to Margie and Jerry. She was called to be with the Lord on September 5, 2023. She left us far too soon, and our hearts are heavy with sorrow. She was truly a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend and will not be forgotten.
Patty was the youngest of nine children, and her presence in our family brought light, joy and adventure to everyone's lives. Patty was full of faith and love, and she always hoped for a brighter tomorrow.
Patty was a loving and immensely proud mother to her children, MaKayla, Jared Gaspar, and Garrett Gaspar. She cherished her role as a grandmother to her 3 young Grandchildren. Her children and granddaughters were her greatest treasures, and she lived every day for their happiness.
After graduating from Washington High School, Patty pursued a career in Caregiving for the Elderly, she later became a Licensed Nursing Assistant. For 35 years, she dedicated herself to her work as a Private Caregiver, where she cared for her clients as if they were her own family. Patty's compassion knew no bounds, and her ability to uplift and support others was her true calling. She was selfless in helping people in need for compassionate care.
A perfect day for Patty was being at the beach, surrounded by family, savoring chips and salsa with a Margarita in hand. Patty loved the sun; she radiated warmth and kindness, much like the sun itself. Patty loved holiday family gatherings, Happy Hours with friends and most of all Sunday dinners with everyone gathered around the dinner table at her mom's.
Patty's generosity and love were expressed in many ways. She was known for her delicious sugar cookies and pumpkin rolls that she lovingly baked and shared with family, friends, and neighbors. Her manicured lawn and impeccably clean house were hallmarks of who she was.
Patty will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and selflessness that will be remembered in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. In honoring Patty's memory, let us strive to live each day with the same hope, love, and selflessness that she embodied throughout her life.
She is survived by her children, MaKayla, Jared, and Garrett, as well as her grandkids. Patty is also survived by her mother, Margie Hawking, and Siblings, Mike Hawking, Teresa Hawking, Karla Hawking, Joe Hawking, Anne Bielecki, and Mary Vardian.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests a gift made in Patty’s name to Chrysalis Domestic Abuse Community Services at Noabuse.org
Rest in peace dear Patty, knowing that your love and kindness live on in the hearts of all those who were touched by your beautiful presence. Love and Peace.
