Patricia Lynn Stevens

Patricia "Patty" Lynn 75, of Chandler passed away on 5/21/2014. Patty was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. A Phoenix native, she graduated from North High and shortly thereafter started a long career at Motorola ending with a well earned retirement in 1998. Patty will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Among her many passions were enjoying just about everything dessert, retelling the many adventures with her brother John - not the least of which was the tale of a couple of 10 year olds riding their bikes from NE Phoenix to downtown Scottsdale with a .22 rifle strapped to the handle bars "just in case," showing off her All State softball pitching form, and cruising the mall with her retired walking friends.

Patty leaves behind 3 adult children and their spouses - daughter Kiva (Lisa), and sons Chris (Debra) and Kenny (Mary). She has 4 grandsons - Scott, Kyle, and Joel Stevens; and Davin Shokes. She is also survived by sisters Cheri Parks-Owens and Shelia Rosza as well as brothers David and John Slinker. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday May 28th, 2 pm, at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 W. Beardsley Rd. in Phoenix (623) 434-7000. In lieu of flowers, you may honor Patty with a donation to either The Arthritis Foundation or The American Cancer Society .
