I have many wonderful memories of Paul.  Our visits to wonderful places like Trappers Lake in Colorado, Rainbow Bridge in Utah, Betatakin cliff dwellings in Arizona, Glacier National Park in Montana and many others as we toured the country for our annual ZGWS conventions.  Paul was a very valued member of the society and did so much for it.  But, he was also such a wonderful friend and I very much looked forward to seeing him.  His dry humor, his dedication to his family and friends, and his inspirational positive outlook on life always lifted my spirits.  Paul - you will be missed!  Jeanne - know that our thoughts and prayers are with you!

I admired and respected Paul as a person and as a fine artist.  His watercolors and paintings of his beloved Arizona were spectacular; and he was so generous to donate a fine watercolor or painting every year to the Zane Grey's West Society convention auction.  I especially liked his bright smile and ready laugh!!!   He was so friendly, always smiling and cheerful in spite of his medical problems and pain.  Paul was a very special person and I will always remember him and his kindness, especially when I look at the lovely watercolors that I was so priviledged to acquire.  My thoughts and prayers are with you Jeanne, and all his percious family.  He will certainly be missed and remembered.

Paul was a good friend for a lot of years. I always enjoyed seeing him and we had the most fun when walking or hiking. He and Jeanne were always there for my boys when they had an important event going on. He will be missed, but I smile when I think of him and that is the way I think he would like it.

Aunt Jeanne, Lori and Lynette,
I wish I could be there with you today.  I have been thinking about all of you a lot and how important family is.  I will miss Uncle Paul tremendously!  I will never forget when I was little and he would do crafts with me and say that I was not a very good artist!  He would always tease me that I was not born with the gift of creativity!!  He was so right!  He could make something so beautiful and I was always so proud of him!!  I know in my heart we will see him again!  What a bright a colorful world he will make for us! Lori and family,  Thoughts and prayers are with you all during this time.  I know your strong faith will carry you through.  Peace and love to you from all the Finch's.  We're gonna miss you at the Giblet Jog :-)

Paul was the kindest, most giving person I have ever known.  When he looked you in the eyes and gave you a hug, you knew you were loved.  He will be missed but he left behind so many wonderful memories for his family and friends he will never be far from our thoughts.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this difficult time.

Sorry to see this in the paper today.  Paul was one of a kind!!  I think of him almost daily.  I am still using my Levi canisters in my kitchen.  Paul helped me make them and many more items at ceramics class at your house on Orange.  I enjoyed working with him at Phoenix Elementary School District #1.  All of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.  May the wonderful memories comfort all of you at this time.
