

Paul Verdugo, age 75, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024. Paul graduated from Carl Hayden High School and soon after served in the US Army, stationed in Texas from 1970 to 1972. He also worked for the city of Phoenix and for Martin Luther King Jr. School, where he wore many hats as a custodian, bus driver, groundskeeper, etc. He had a wonderful sense of humor, and he fancied himself a great dancer. He loved to camp and fish, and in his latter years, he loved to go on boat cruises and travel to many parts of the world. Family meant everything to him, and he will be greatly missed by all who cared for and loved him.He is survived by his son, Paul, his grandson, Jacob and three siblings, Nasario, Carlos, and Sylvia. He was also blessed with many nieces and nephews who hold him dear to their hearts. He is preceded in death by his parents, Nazario and Elvira Verdugo, and is reunited with his precious infant daughter Stephanie.
A visitation for Paul will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Shadow Mountain Mortuary, 2350 East Greenway Road, Phoenix, AZ 85022.
