

Pete is survived by his loving wife Debbie Godfrey Yingling of 42 years of marriage, sons Keith, wife Jeana and Kevin, wife Stephanie. Also surviving are Pete’s grandchildren Hannah and Easton, and Pete welcomed into his family Braydon and Caitlyn Bell. Pete leaves behind his mother Dorothy and 3 sisters. Pete is predeceased by his father Luther Howard Yingling.
Pete was born on September 27, 1952 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. He married Debbie, his high school sweetheart on November 25, 1972 in York, PA. Pete served honorably for four years in the United States Air Force, was honorably discharged, and remained a proud veteran and patriot throughout his life.
Pete was currently employed with the city of Phoenix, and was well respected by his crews for his dedication, professionalism and integrity of service. Pete’s hobbies included history and genealogy, world travel, 4-wheeling in his Jeep and expert craftsmanship in woodworking. He especially enjoyed woodworking with his grandchildren while teaching and spending time with them in his shop.
Services at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 West Beardsley, Phoenix, AZ at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 26th. Final internment will be at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
