Penny's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and cherished moments, which she shared with her loved ones until her passing on August 13, 2023.
Penny's formative years were spent in Stevens Point, where she attended Pacelli Catholic School and later proudly graduated. An avid football enthusiast, Penny's heart beat true for the Green Bay Packers, her unwavering support a testament to her passion for the sport. However, beyond the excitement of the game, Penny's heart held an equally special place for feline companions, endearing her to the gentle souls of cats.
In 1976, Penny embarked on a new chapter by moving to Arizona, where the warmth of the desert mirrored the warmth of her character. Penny's professional journey continued, as she spent a remarkable 25 years as an account manager for Farmer Wood Group in Phoenix, an achievement that reflected her commitment and competence. She also spent several years since 2001 working at the local landmark, Phoenix Greyhound Park.
Penny's journey was enriched for over 32 years by her loving husband, Willie Williams, Sr., of Glendale, Arizona, who stood by her side through life's ups and downs. She is survived by her two brothers, Terry of Wausau, Wisconsin, and Rob and his wife, Brenda, of Stevens Point, Wisconsin, each holding cherished memories of their beloved sister. In addition to her immediate family, Penny is remembered by four stepchildren: Willie Jr. and Jerry Williams of Avondale, Arizona; Mary Ann Eggleston and Crystal Headd of Phoenix, Arizona. Her legacy extends to include two nieces, two nephews, and a host of step-grandchildren and friends who were touched by her warmth and kindness.
Preceding her in death, Penny joins her parents, Gerald and Janet Tuszka, in the embrace of eternal peace. As Penny's journey in this world comes to a close, her memory remains alive in the hearts of those she touched. She leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and dedication that will be carried forward by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
