Pete G. Ayala, 87, of Glendale, Arizona, passed away peacefully on December 1, 2010. Pete was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He served in the Pacific Theatre during WWII in the 2nd Marine Division. He loved his family and will be dearly missed by all. Pete was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 61 years, Helen. He is survived by his children, Selmo and Mary, daughter-in-law, Nancy, grandchildren, Michael, Jennifer and Tony, great grandchildren, Gregory, Sarah, Cassidy, Anthony, Rhyan and Samuel and brother, Nicho. Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
