

An angel was taken away from us and joined the Lord Jesus Christ on July 6, 2010. She was born on October 27, 1952 in Tucumcari, NM to Emmitt and Oletha Yocom. She was raised in Canutillo, Tx where she then raised her own family until August of 1990 when she moved to Phoenix, Az. Phyllis loved Christmas, hiking, music, horses, world travel, but first and foremost her family and friends. She was a long time member and volunteer of Calvary Community Church. She spent countless hours devoting her time to charities like the Sunshine Angels. Her unselfish love could be felt by all who knew her. She never walked in a room without hugging you and telling you that she loved you. She was a loving and amazing mother, sister, wife, grandmother, and friend. The self proclaimed "Deho" is survived by her three sons: Jimmy, Mark, Rusty, and their father Ray Montoya. Her husband Peter J. Mizioch and his three children: Marilyn, Jack, P .J and his daughter and two sons. Proud grandmother of Cassidy Montoya, Zetalyiah Montoya, Emma Faulkner, Vicky and Felicia Diaz. Her three brothers Monty, Ronnie, and Gary Yocom, and her two sisters Linda Yocom and Connie Falls. Also included is her seventeen surviving cousins, 21 nieces and nephews and 13 great nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece and nephew. She lived every moment, laughed everyday and loved beyond words. Phyllis will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A visitation will be held from 5-8 on Friday, July 16, 2010 at Phoenix Memorial Park 200 W. Beardsley Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85027. Service will be held Saturday July 1yth 9am at Calvary Community Church 12612 N. Black Canyon Hwy. Phoenix, AZ 85029. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sunshine Angels: 1541 W.
