

Ralph Leroy Breninger, a native of Canton, Ohio, had been a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, since 1944. He was employed for 42 years as a Sheet Metal Worker. He was very active in Sheet Metal Union Local 359, serving as President from 1951 through 1955. He was instrumental in purchasing the Union Hall and establishing a training program for young apprentices. He loved Phoenix, the beauty of Arizona and was actively involved in the Lutheran Church and the community. He was born March 22, 1922 to Guy and Nancy (Essig) Breninger. He died peacefully on February 16, 2011 at Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, Arizona. His beloved wife, Marjorie of 49 years, preceded him in death. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Breninger of Roseville, CA, and son and daughter-in-law, Roy and Marcey Breninger of Chino Valley, AZ. He had 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. Ralph was also preceded in death by his brother, Clyde and sisters, Mary and Ruth of Canton, Ohio. Brother and sister-in-law, John and Julia Breninger of Pine, AZ, and sister, Barbara Harwart of Canton, Ohio, survive him. Family and friends are invited to celebrate his life on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at 4:00 P.M. at Greenwood Memory Lawn Chapel, 719 N. 27th Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85009.
