Ramona J Mieras

It is with great sadness that our beloved Ramona (Mona) J Mieras of Phoenix, Arizona passed away May 4, 2022 from natural causes. She was born July 3, 1962 in Flagstaff, AZ. Mona is preceded in death by her husband Joe, and her mother Jeannie Diaz. She is survived by her father Raymond Montoya, brother Raymond Montoya II, sister Nancy Goodman (Todd), sister Darlene Montoya, daughter Danielle, step-daughter Stephanie Hansen (Russell), and step-son Joseph Mieras (Amber). She was also a Grammy to Jax, and Nayeli and had a goddaughter Marisela Mieras. Mona graduated from Coconino high school and stayed in contact with many of her high school friends and had a larger than life personality. In 1989, she married the love of her life, Joe, where they later moved to Bullhead City, then Mesa where she was manager of several retail stores. She was an advocate for the developmentally disabled/special needs and a true dedicated sports fan of the Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Suns. Mona welcomed everyone into her home, loved music, walking and driving in the rain, decorating for Christmas and Halloween and wrote beautiful poetry and had some of them published. She taught many to go after what you believe in and care for others.

She was a true protector for those she loved. Due to covid, services will be announced at a later date.
