Richard was born on March 18, 1922, in West Allis, WI to Sylvester Klappa and Hattie Krusik.
At 18, Richard decided to enlist in the United States Navy, honorably serving his country for over 20 years.
He is survived by his daughter Joan Noble and her husband Gus and his other daughter, Christine Macri.
A committal service for Richard will be held Friday, January 24, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Phoenix Memorial Park, 200 West Beardsley Road, Phoenix, AZ 85027.
