Rita A Di Benedetto

DI BENEDETTO Rita A., 94, much loved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on July 3, 2011. A resident of Arizona for 36 years, Rita was born in Sanford, Maine on May 1, 1917 to Yvonne and Delfus Brochu. Rita was a loving wife to Dominick Sorce, they lived in New Jersey until he passed away in 1970. She later married Joseph Di Benedetto whom is also now deceased. Rita is survived by her children; Salvatore Sorce, Yvonne Sorce Fazio, and Anita Sorce Gregory, eight grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, as well as her sister Teresa Gillman. A visitation will be held at Phoenix Memorial Park & Mortuary 200 West Beardsley Road Phoenix, AZ, from 4 – 7 PM, Wednesday, July 6, 2011, with funeral services to be held Thursday, July 7, 2011 at 11:00 at Our Lady of the Valley 3220 W. Greenway Road, Phoenix, Arizona. Interment will follow at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona.
