Robert B Jenkins

Robert B. Jenkins, 65, of Phoenix, AZ and Beaver Falls, PA died July 10, 2023 at home. He was born April 16, 1958 in Rochester, PA, the son of Reil B. Jenkins and Shirley M. Simpson Jenkins. He grew up in Chippewa Township, loving his many pets and animals. He enjoyed all sports, especially baseball. As a 10 year old, he won the local radio station sports trivia contest, besting all the adults. He was a graduate of Blackhawk High School, and earned a degree in Civil Engineering from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN. Upon graduation, he had a long and productive career as a structural engineer for both industry as well as private clients across various states. Bob was devoted to his parents and his uncle, Raymond Jenkins, who all preceded him in death. He enjoyed time with them and with love and generosity became his mother’s primary caregiver with her final illness. Bob also liked having regular phone conversations with his cousins and traveling regularly to Pennsylvania each summer. Bob continued to be an avid sports fan, frequently watching more than one game on multiple screens at one time. Bob is survived by one sister, Nancy J. Johnson, and brother-in-law, Lane Johnson, Tucson, AZ as well as five nieces and nephews and their families, and fifteen cousins. A memorial service will be planned in the future for family and friends.
