Robert "Bob" D. King resident of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully at the age of 80 on the morning of Friday, May 23, 2025 with his family at his side after a long illness. He was born on September 10, 1944 in Corinth, NY. Bob was a veteran who served two years in the U.S Army. After he retired from Colliers International Real Estate Management in 2012, Bob enjoyed a good game of golf and did not take it too seriously. His favorite pastime was watching Gunsmoke, MASH, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy.
Bob was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Cheryl Lee King, in 1968. Bob leaves his wife of 31 years, Kathy King (Goates); a son, Timothy King (Mary); a daughter, Hope Rivera (Joe); a son, Travis King (Anna); a stepdaughter, Jennifer Norton; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren;, his special cousins, Jane Dearborn (Dave) of Corinth; Lorna Steadman (Don) of Corinth. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley.
The memorial service will take place at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary in the Funeral Home Chapel at 719 N. 27th Avenue in Phoenix, AZ 85009 on Thursday, June 12th, 2025 at 9am until 10am.
