

Butch was born to Alcide and Cecile Boucher on September 25, 1941 in Salem, Massachusetts. He entered into active duty with the United States Air Force on February 6, 1961 and retired with an honorable discharge and rank of Master Sergeant February 28, 1981. During that tenure, he met Carolyn Sue (Ulliman) and they were married in Tucson, Arizona on May 7, 1966. Butch served in the Vietnam war and received the following honors: accommodation medal, good conduct medal with 5 oakleaf clusters, organizational excellence award, outstanding unit award with 2 oakleaf clusters, longevity service ribbon with 4 oakleaf clusters, National Defense Service medal and the Vietnam service medal with 2 bronze service stars.
After his active-duty discharge, Butch returned to USAF as a civilian with flight control/avionics to serve another 20 years.
He was a devout catholic and parishioner at St. Thomas Aquinas Church.
He generously supported numerous community organizations through volunteering with SPARC and with the Red Cross at Luke AF Base pharmacy until his passing.
Butch is preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Sue, his sister Annette Anderson and his parents Alcide and Cecile. He is survived by his daughter Renee (daughters Ashley, Amanda and Abigail), his son Philip (wife Dawn) and daughter Stephanie (husband Milton and children Michaela and Morrison).
Dad, you were the heart of our family and our comfort when we needed clarity. Your long years of fatherly love will be cherished while we continue to treasure all of our memories. We will always have your 6, Godspeed.
Funeral arrangements have been finalized for July 30, 2025:
9:00am-11:00am Memorial Service at Funeraria del Angel Greer-Wilson Chapel
5921 W Thomas Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85033
Followed by military escort to National Memorial Cemetery 2929 E Pinnacle Peak Rd,
Phoenix, AZ 85024. Butch will be laid to rest with full military honors.
Reception will be hosted by the family after all services. Location details will be provided at the funeral.
