Rolieta Darline Truman (Rolli), age 62, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2021, in Phoenix Arizona after a courageous 18-month long battle with complex medical issues. She was sent off with love to be with her lord in heaven while surrounded by people who love her.
Rolli was born on September 23, 1958, in Leonard, TX to Bobby and Janet Lusk. Although she lived most of her life in Arizona, she spent her formative years in the small town of Mesquite Nevada where she formed relationships that have lasted to this day. She was proceeded in death by her father Bobby Lusk of Page, AZ; sister Roxanne Swapp of Page, AZ; brother Bobby Gene Lusk of Mesquite, NV; and adopted sister Brandi Hounshell of Page, AZ. She is survived by her mother Janet Lusk of Phoenix, AZ; her son Jathan Truman of St. George, UT; son Mitchell Truman of Phoenix, AZ; her beloved grand-daughter Tenley Truman of Page, AZ; three aunts, one uncle, ten nieces, three nephews, and her cousin Gina Spencer-Eckhardt of Phoenix, AZ who was like a sister to her.
Rolli worked in the healthcare industry for over 40 years. From organizing files for Joint commission to taking board meeting notes in shorthand; communication, people skills, and a strong work ethic were at the core of Rolli’s professionalism. Most recently Rolli worked for an OB/GYN clinic where she received specialized training to manage clinical trials for ovarian cancer in addition to provider credentialing which was a skill she had perfected over the years. She took great pride in her work. She will be fondly missed by the countless number of people whose lives she touched throughout the years.
In addition to her passion for family, Rolli was an avid sports fan and followed all the Arizona teams religiously as well as the Dallas Cowboys. She was happy to call Lake Powell her home where she loved boating with family and friends. She always looked forward to holiday gatherings and attending church. Rolli loved people; she never met a stranger. She will be forever in our hearts.
