(POEM)
Don't grieve for me for now I'm free
I'm following the path God laid for me
I took his hand when I heard his call
I turned my back and I left it all
Life is but a stopping place a pause in what's to be
a resting place along the road to sweet eternity
We all have different journeys different paths along the way
We all were meant to learn some things but never meant to stay
Our destination is a place for greater than we know
For some the journeys quicker for some the journey slow
And when the journey finally ends will claim a great reward
And find an everlasting peace together with the Lord
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief
Lift up your heart and share with me
God wanted me now he set me free.
