Ronald Lemoine Peoples

He was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania on February 5, 1956 and moved to Phoenix with his parents and siblings in 1961.

He graduated from Camelback high school and married Virginia (Miller) Peoples on May 24, 1975. They had two sons, Brian and Dennis.

Ron was an ASE master technician, and was great at fixing cars, starting first with Sears, then owning his own shop before moving on to Pepboys for 30+ years.

Ron was always active with his children’s education and activities, helping with science projects and being the scoutmaster in the scout troop for many years. He enjoyed science and technology and was an early adopter of many new technologies, tinkering away with computers and building his own projects. He shared and fostered this interest with his children and grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his siblings Don, Cheryl and Shelly, his sons Brian and Dennis, Daughter-in-Law Vivianne and grandchildren Ian and Valentina.

A memorial service for Ronald will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Mortuaries Bethany Chapel, 710 West Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85013, followed by a reception from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
