Rudolph "Rudy" Guzman Jr.

Rudy passed away April 25, 2012. Rudy was born in Ruby Arizona, November 27, 1939, Rudy spent the vast majority of his life in the East Valley. In 1967, Rudy started a small contracting business. This humble beginning led to multiple corporations owned and operated by Rudy and his sons. Rudy was a proud member of the Tempe Diablos and in 1992 held the distinct honor as President of that esteemed organization. Because of his generous heart, Rudy participated and oversaw multiple local charity events. A wonderful, kind, funny, humble man, Rudy loved fishing in the Sea of Cortez and made a point to approach life full throttle. He died quietly at home with his daughters, son, sister and daughter –in-laws by his side. His sister Francis Carrillo, Brother Joe Guzman, survives him. He leaves behind four very proud children, eight beautiful grandchildren and daughter-in-laws Marilyn and Sarah.

For all of you who knew and loved Rudy, please take a moment to celebrate his life. Because no one lived and died on their own terms quite the way he did.
