Roo..you are so missed!  I wish I was there to say see you..we will see each other again..

Roo, my friend and fellow Army mom. you will be so missed in the military family community and in our hearts. I will always remember you as a smiling, gentle soul.  Rest in eternal peace

Dearest Roo, It's amazing how so many of us met because our kids were/are in the military. You were one of the most patriotic women I knew. I will miss your bright smile.  May your memory be eternal Roo.  Deepest sympathy to Dave and Max.

A great example to us all, Roo lived what she believed in and gave so much more than "just enough"..she gave her heart, her all. So grateful to have known her as a friend and to have been privileged to work along side her for a time in Blue Star Moms and MFSG honoring our Troops.

Sometimes in life God blesses you with a true-blue friend.Someone who understands,encourages and loves you for just no reason.Ruth has been my friend for almost 30 years.Her love and support have been such a huge part of my life.I cry selfish tears because my friend is gone.Ruth was a great friend,mother ,teacher and wife.Smart,funny,beautiful inside and out.FUN!So many happy memories.I will hold her dearly in my heart til I take my last breath.My love to Dave and Max and all who loved her

I'm so sorry for your loss. I knew Roo through the MFSG and through the AZ3 Blue Star Moms. I will never forget the a wonderful time we had when she opened the home for making those beautiful heartfelt cards to send to the troops. There were cards everywhere! I know her talents will be sorely missed. May God bless you all with beautiful memories and always hold that close to your hearts

My sincerest condolences to your family.  I went to school in Cleveland and graduated with Ruth in 1974.  Ruth was in my homeroom senior year and we shared a lot of laughter.  I'll always  remember her beautiful smile.

Dear Max and Dave:  I am so sad to hear of Ruth's passing!  She was an incredible woman who gave to others with complete selflessness.  She was a huge champion of Max.  I have the fondest memories of our time together at Pinnacle HS Choir Activities.  I wish you the comfort of many happy memories.

Roo was the best Army Mom Sister. she sent me and my son cards to say hello, happy birthday or just thinking of you. She put my son's name on the list of soldiers receiving pkgs while he was in Afganastan. He always shared with his buddies. He was so upset when I told him of Roo's passing. Roo was an Angel.. She will be so missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Dave and Max... Fly with the Angels, Roo. love you sweet sister

You will be greatly missed by the Gunfighter soldiers... They all appreciated the wonderful care packages.... That's all they talked about...We appreciated all your support.. Roo was there for me when I was a new Army Mom afraid of an unknown future.  She treated me like a longtime friend and promised to walk with me on the journey.  She always knew just what to say and out of the blue I'd get one of her special cards to lift my spirits. I love Roo like a sister. Heaven is lucky to have her and I know she's watching over all of us as an angel in heaven the same as she did when she was an angel on earth.

Thanks you miss Ruth for the kindness and caring you showed my brothers and I while we were oversea.May you rest in peace and smile down on us.

Roo was the sister that Nature forgot to give me at birth, but Life and the Army gave me when I needed her most.  My words will never adequately describe how much she meant to me.  There is a huge space in my heart that is empty now.  I will fill it with memories of her and the times we had together.  Dave, Max and Aracely, I am so sorry for you loss. I will always be here for all of you.   You have accepted me like family and I love you all so much.

I had the opportunity to work with Ruth on the assistive technology team in PVUSD.  She was a dedicated professional.  One of things that I remember most about that time was how proud she was of her son Max.  You could see the pride and love when she talked about him.

Roo has touched the lives of COUNTLESS people with her kindness, love, caring. She is my 'army mom' sister as well. While she will sorely missed on earth, Heaven has been made a better place for sure. My condolences to Dave, Max, Aracely.

Ruth ~ I miss you so much my friend.  All the many years we have spent together for our military sons and all our troops that we love so much.  I will remember those days forever.  You are a true Patriot and a great example for all.  You are in my heart forever.  Semper Fi.

Each time, while looking at the night stars, shining down upon earth, will be a reminder as to how Roo shined during her Lifetime.
