Ruth F Hernandez

Ruth F. Hernandez, 97, passed away on May 12, 2025. She was born in Miami, Arizona to parents, Jesus and Julia Fernandez. Ruth was married to Marcelino Hernandez for 50 years, predeceasing her in 1998.

She had five children; Teresa Langford, David, Charlie, and Sylvia Hernandez. She was predeceased by her daughter, Alice Hernandez. Ruth is survived by brothers; Ralph and Paul Fernandez. She was also predeceased by sisters; Carmen Fernandez, Margie Martinez, and brother, Jesus Fernandez.

Ruth and Marcelino raised their five children along with all her siblings at their Phoenix home where she remained for over 68 years. She had 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great great grandchildren who she enjoyed seeing as often as possible. Ruth worked at Motorola for 25 years and was her family's anchor who was loved and adored by all.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 719 North 27th Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85009. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 27, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Greenwood Memory Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery, 2300 W Van Buren St, Phoenix, AZ 85009.
